Regret that u were not voted into PJU team. But u should understand the real reason being the grassroots no give a damn to the hand handed modus operandi of national leaders like LGE etc who practice favouritism without considering retain talents. By continuing with this style of leadership DAp will go no where. Learn from history please.

I still trust u are a politician with genuine aspirations. Good luck.

Dump Ronnie Liu and get back Tee BH as he is an asset at grassroot level. LKS can't deny it.

Dear CYC,

Thank you for your comment. For your information, I am elected as the Vice Chairman of PJU Parliamentary Liaison Committee despite losing the battle for Chairmanship with two votes during second round voting (meaning that both James Ooi and I scored the same votes during first round voting).

LKS and LGE are not involved in every minor happenings in the party. I think it is unfair to involve them. As for Tee Boon Hock, it is an undeniable fact that he has recommended his son's company for jobs with Klang Municipal Council. The question lies with the extend of the punishment meted out by the party and the government.

LKS and son undeniably involved in many incidences where some very capable people being ousted or marginalised. Take Johor for example, why was Dr Boo Cheng Hau constantly being marginalised though he is the state chief. Why was Manoharan being ousted as Selangor chief when he as officially elected few years ago and instead reelection was instructed and Ean Yong was installed as chief ? Please treat us as equal and not stupid fool. While we voted DAP into power, we don't expect our trust be misused for selfish gain by those who think they are indispensable.

In Tee case, what the public wanted to know is why Ronnie was not punished when he clearly committed wrong doings. He is a liability of DAP in the eyes of many. Dare to carry out census to prove it otherwise ?

Sdr CYC, I am trying to correct the facts. Dr Boo Cheng Hau lost the CEC election in 2004 but he was co-opted as CEC member in 2004, LGE was elected as DAP Secretary-General then. Until today, Dr Boo Cheng Hau is still the state chairman of Johore DAP.

Sdr Manoharan was the State Chairman quite some time ago, if I am correct, he was chairman around ~2000. Ean Yong became the chairman in 2006, 2007. The up-and-down of the two chairmen are certainly not inter-related.

As for the case of Ronnie Liu and Tee Boon Hock, I am okay for whatever census to be carried out. I suggest you to read the comments at http://www.malaysia-today.net/mtcolumns/from-around-the-blogs/35625-the-rise-of-dap-justice-reform-group and http://www.malaysia-today.net/mtcolumns/from-around-the-blogs/35626-nasihat-kepada-lim-kit-siang-lim-guan-eng-dan-au-yong-hian-wah

Much as u like to correct the facts, why was Ong Chee Kin stripped off his chairmanship in favour of Ean Yong ? Since when DAP's constitution empowered such undemocratic act? Care to also enlighten us if LGE really take note and assist Dr Boo in his struggle to build up Johor DAP or he is more willing to see Gwee Tiong Hian to move up the hierearchy despite his lack of charisma as a leader ? Then again, why was Teng Chang Khim was sidelined in favour of Ronnie Liu who was proven to be a so called leader that failed to connect with people in PJ Utara despite standing twice as GE candidate? It is a disaster to put him in the portfolio handling local council. Check with ground and see if my perception is self made or represent the common feeling of voters.

DAP used to has many talented people but mostly faded away thereafter, why? It is a common knowledge or consensus that Mahathir though a dictator but he is much tolerant of his critics hence managed to retain many of his lieutenants compared to LKS.

Politics is not a man show and its objective must be geared towards the common good of the rakyats and not towards the glory of few leaders. As long as the public opinions are ignored, DAP will find its marching to Putrajaya a sheer dream or fantasy at most.

Dear CYC,

I disagree if you believe that Mahathis is much tolerant of his critics and hence managed to retain many of his lieutenants.

You can check with most of the senior civil servants in town, especially those who had served him before.

The problem that we are facing is sometimes, and it happens sometimes, that the views of the public and the views of the grassroots are very much different.

Dear Lau,

Procrastination is a slower but more painful form of self destruction. I rest my case.
