Protest by Bdr Bkt Puchong residents - removed UMNO's cabins now

Residents of Bandar Bukit Puchong gathered in their fieeend this morning to stage a strong protest against Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) for granting approval to UMNO Bandar Bukit Puchong Branch to locate two cabins in front of their house in the field.

I had earlier blogged on this issue on 15th March 2007 when free local daily, The Sun reported this issue.

It was later discovered that UMNO ADUN for Sri Serdang, Satem Diman, a councillor of MPSJ was one of the black hand behind the scene.

If you have missed out on reading theSun, I've attached the relevant links. I think your disappointment will turn to anger as you read each subsequent report

Padang is padang, cabin is cabin. Nobody can claim any part of a public field for his own purpose no matter how powerful or influential he/she is. We are a country of rule-of-law, not rule-by-law or rule-of-the-jungle. My collegue, Ronnie Liu, has more write-up on this.
