I see you are accorded YB Tuan....Do you prefer the public to address you as such with the new title or would you prefer it worn during ceremonial times like the songkok and leave it as where it is?
Just call me lau.
Congratulation to you and all the YBs.
Additionally i would like to bring to your attention that many of the spot lights installed in the playground around PJU has not been well maintain. Many of the lights are not working for months already.
One example is in the SS1 playground where the SS1 badminton hall is located. Almost half of the lights are faulty. MBPJ still has not taken any action yet.
Of late i have been noticing the public been requesting the improve of amenities in the blog. I read with interest in the press over the division of MP and ADUN roles but one thing in common is both plays the role of a law maker ie passing of an statutory Act or Enactment.
In this sense since public amenities come under the local council purviews and that local council head is a public servant employed by the Federal government, how can an ADUN plays the role of monitoring the local council doing their work as a result of complaints from the public? Surely it won't be an effective way in the state assembly to question or highlight the non performing local council head since some of them with attitude problem, even presenting them with a broom will not change them.
Is there a better mechanism of control so that the local council will be more people oriented and shall they fail to discharge their duties, any complaints to the ADUN will make them fearful to toe the line?
