刘永山兑现承诺，倒塌围墙一个月重建完工

（八打灵再也17日讯）甘榜东姑州议员刘永山日前拨款重建灵市22区联成花园32路后巷与八打灵再也华人义山公会毗邻的倒塌围墙，其工程已经将近完工。

刘永山指出，八打灵再也华人义山公会是在上个月向他投诉有关围墙倒塌一事，他过后也曾经于5月尾前往视察并召开记者会。过后刘永山决定从选区拨款拨出1万2千令吉负责清理该处的剩余的垃圾以及重建有关围墙。

“有关围墙是由前朝政府在约5年前申请建设。由于没有装置柱头和钢骨水泥，因此围墙结构不稳。再加上上个月经常发生狂风暴雨，因此围墙无法承受过高水压而倒塌。”

他说：”我和市议员惹耶斯兰在5月接获居民和公会代表的投诉后，并立即要求市议会清理该处的垃圾。由于这是紧急工程，因此经过讨论后，我们决定动用选区拨款来进行重建工程。“

当刘永山今日再前往该处视察时，工程已经进行至80巴仙。承包商也根据要求竖立数支钢骨水泥柱子，让新建好的围墙更为稳固。预计工程能够在6月尾正式完工。此外，刘永山也指出，他将会拨款和22区睦邻原则中心于6月24日在该处进行一项大扫除运动，协助居民清理干净该区的后巷。

PETALING JAYA: Jalan 22/32 residents are concerned about the wall of the cemetery behind their houses.

A part of it collapsed during a downpour in April.

They said the two-metre high wall had helped to keep drug addicts away from their neighbourhood.

"There were many break-ins and snatch thefts before the wall was raised from a height of one metre to two metres in 2008," said Edward Hendroff, 57.

"Drug addicts had an easy escape route through the cemetery, when they were chased by police.

"A part of the wall collapsed during a downpour. We want the authorities to repair the wall," said Hendroff, who has been staying there for 10 years.

On a recent visit to the area, Kampung Tunku state assemblyman Lau Weng San said a grant from his constituency development fund would pay for the wall repairs.

"I have applied for the grant to be channelled to the Petaling Jaya Chinese Cemetery Association to repair the wall. It will cost between RM12,000 and RM14,000 to repair the damaged portion of the wall which is less than 20-metres long.

"The repairs are expected to be carried out this month," added Lau.

Officiating Section 22 Rukun Tetangga Badminton Court

I was invited to attend a programme to officially open the Section 22 Rukun Tetangga badminton court this morning.

Also attending are Petaling Jaya DAP Councillor, Mr Jeeyaselan T. Anthony, Mr G. Rajendran, chairman of Section 22 Rukun Tetangga and his committee members.

I used to call Mr G. Rajendran as "Uncle Raj" and I met him numerously before and after 2008 General Election. The last time I met him was to resolve the pending back-lane street-lighting works left over by BN during election time. That issue was resolved already and during that meeting, he thrown me an idea of upgrading a large piece of empty land which was then grown with bushes into a badminton court.

Jeeyaselan agreed to look into the request and I wish to thank MBPJ that some RM16,000 were spent to build the court and we officiated it this morning. Children and women folks were very happy as they will have a new place for all their recreational activities. There will still some repainting works to be done by the contractor and I hope the RT can make full use of the court to promote neighbourhood spirit and healthy lifestyle.

灵联成花园毗邻公寓动工，屋沉墙裂居民怕怕

（八打灵再也8日讯）公寓建築工地与住家距离约13公尺，居民声称工程导致住家下沉、屋子横樑龟裂及破坏排水系统，担心随时“有屋没命住”！

此与联成花园22/44路毗邻的15层高共232单位的中价公寓于1年多前开工，目前正如火如荼进行，邻近居民则在期间不断遭受空气污染及噪音影响，生活大受影响。

甘榜东姑区州议员刘永山星期五首次安排八打灵再也多个主要部门官员、国能公司及居民实地瞭解概况。在场者包括八打灵再也市政厅城乡规划组主人玛海妮、建築管制组副总监依斯迈娣南、工程组官员、公寓工程经理蒋孔财及国能公司代表。

罔顾居民安危

据现场观察，毗邻数间单位直接受影响，最严重的为住宅横樑及墙壁龟裂，屋子也有下沉迹象，此外，有关公寓与高压电缆非常靠近，看了不禁让人捏一把冷汗。

居民投诉，他们怀疑地底已出现沙土流失，所以才导致单位下沉，且动工前，有关单位未咨询居民意见，罔顾居民安危。

他们透露，之前曾发生工地泥土倒在民宅屋顶的事件，他们担心随时再发生更严重意外。虽然承包商曾答应将于明年3月工程建竣后提供修补，但居民却担心或发生更大危险。

刘永山表示本于下週一和居民及各单位开会商讨。

他说，居民也反对未来公寓居民使用22/44路作为主要进出道路，因为这影响他们生活。为此，他会建议当局俯顺民意，衔接去22/27路作为进出道路。

工程经理答应完工後一次过修补

居民声称公寓工程导致民宅龟裂，影响生活。公寓工程经理蒋孔财指出，他们的确经常接获投诉，若是小问题都会派人维修，对于一些比较大的问题，也答应居民会在工程完毕后，为他们提供修补。

他直言，就算现在修补，也会出现龟裂，倒不如一次过完成。他披露，根据公司保险公司所提供的报告，这些屋子结构属于安全。

失去活动空间

屋子横樑、石膏墙都龟裂，墙壁的裂缝越来越严重。工程初期，承包商也没围上安全板，造成尘土飞扬，孩子被逼呆在家里，失去活动空间。

造成沙石流失

我屋子已有30年，之前非常坚固，但自从工程开始后，陆续出现各种问题，现在厕所污水无法排向沟渠，全部流向屋底，可能造成地底沙石流失。每次投诉，承包商都会来看，他们说会在竣工后提供修补工作，但问题已陆续出现，我们担心可能屋子结构已有问题，等不及当局的修补工作。

Penduduk-penduduk di Jalan 22/51 Petaling Jaya mengadu bahawa lorong-lorong belakang rumah mereka kurang dijaga oleh MBPJ sehingga berlubang-lubang.

Penduduk juga mengadu bahawa kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) untuk memperbaiki manhole sistem pembetungan di lorong-lorong belakang mereka telah menyebabkan manhole itu dinaikkan lebih tinggi daripada paras jalan biasa.

Oleh itu, ianya secara tidak langsung menjadi satu kesulitan kepada kereta-kereta peronda polis yang kebanyakkannya terdiri daripada kereta Proton Wira atau Waja untuk menangkap pencuri.

Kawasan itu merupakan satu kawasan hitam dan selalu berlaku kes pecah-masuk. Kebanyakan penyamun-penyamun datang ke tempat itu melalui tanah perkuburan yang berdekatan, di mana pagar yang didirikan untuk mengelilingi tanah perkuburan terlalu rendah dan pintu pagarnya tidak dikunci dengan baik.

Oleh itu, penyamun-penyamun yang datang pecah masuk selalunya dapat melarikan diri melalui lorong-lorong belakang yang berdekatan dengan tanah perkuburan.

Penduduk juga memberitahu bahawa pagar tanah perkuburan berdekatan adalah terlalu rendah dan mudah dipanjat masuk oleh mereka yang tidak bertanggungjawab.

Malahan saya juga mendapati bahawa pintu pagar besi yang dipasang telah dicuri sekian lama dan belum lagi diganti.

Penduduk juga ingin memohon untuk memagarkan lorong-lorong belakang rumah mereka memandangkan lorong-lorong itu jarang diguna oleh pihak lain. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengawal keadaan di lorong-lorong belakang rumah supaya orang-orang asing yang tidak dikenali tidak boleh memasuki kawasan itu.
