It was question time in Parliament on 13th Nov, Tuesday when MP for Tenom, YB raime bin Unggi asked the Ministry of Infomration to state the procedures to verify the authencity of the news before it is broadcasted by Radio Televisyen Malaysia.
Replying on behalf of Information Ministry is YB Datuk Zahid Hamidi, it’s Deputy and war of tongue broke out when the issue of the massive public rally organized by Bersih on last Saturday became the topic of debate when it’s Minister, Datuk Zainuddin Maidin, who was then not in the chamber, was accused by Parliamentary Opposition Leader YB Lim Kit Siang that he is a Minister of Mis-Information regarding his manner in replying to Al-Jazeera, a well-known tv media from UAE.
