For almost two weeks, Al Jazeera's Tony Birtley saw first hand the popular protests against Myanmar's military government and the subsequent crackdown. Each day he filed reports as soldiers were ordered to open fire on unarmed protesters. Three Al Jazeera cameras captured the events as they unfolded in the largest city, Yangon.
